Betty White!

^ Sorry about the blurry picture, that pesky rope wasn't agreeing with my autofocus... *haha* ^
(I need to get a new camera)

This was at the LA Times Festival of Books 2012.  Betty White told some of her adorable animal stories, it was a lot of fun to listen to her. :)  I'd seen her over the summer too at a taping of her new show "Hot in Cleveland."  That show is hilarious!  Such a sweet woman. :)

Mayim Bialik

She wrote a book on attachment parenting.  I was with my sister and our friend (a guy) and they wanted to leave not long after she had started her talk, because they felt uncomfortable with her many uses of the word: breastfeeding. *haha*  But I was able to get some shots for the blog, which I was excited about.  I'm such a fan of her character on "The Big Bang Theory"

some of her funny moments:

The Cast of Parks and Recreation
at PaleyFest 2012

^ Amy Poehler (Leslie Knope) ^

^ Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt (Andy Dwyer) ^

^ Chris Pratt, Michael Schur (co-creator/Mose from The Office), Retta (Donna Meagle) ^

^ Jim O'Heir (Jerry Gergich) ^
 I got his autograph!

^ They had cardboard cutouts for the people that couldn't make it ^
From left to right: Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt), Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate), Rashida Jones (Ann Perkins), Aziz Ansari (Tom Haverford), Rob Lowe (Chris Traeger).
Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson) didn't have one, because he was filming a movie in Burbank and was going to try to make it, but didn't.

^ Amy Poehler had just kissed the Ben Wyatt cutout, so sad I missed that shot *haha* ^

^ Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, Paul Rudd, and Rashida Jones ^
These guys had someone take this picture of them and they then created their own fake TV show "that was on in 2003," called Philly Justice.  They had a joke that Paul Rudd kept getting replaced *haha*

It was suuuuch a fun night!  They are all so hilarious!  In the beginning, they showed us the new episode, "Lucky," before it aired.  And at the end they showed us a special blooper reel that they made for the Season 4 wrap party, so we were the only other people that got to see it and it was hilarious!  They even had it hosted by Perd Hapley and had fake commercials which were for Philly Justice and Ben's stop motion movie trailer that was like 2 seconds long *haha*

I had originally bought the ticket for The Office, but they had to cancel due to shooting schedule problems, but I was very glad they chose this show to replace it with, because it really was an awesome night :)

And here's a clip from the evening:

Rainn Wilson!

A.K.A. Dwight Schrute!  He too was at the LA Times Festival of Books, but that year it was at USC rather than UCLA.  But I got to meet him and get his autograph!  It was so exciting!  Aaaaand.... he made fun of me... XD

Bernadette Peters

At the LA Times Festival of Books.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Debi Derryberry

This was at the LA Times Festival of Book a few years ago.  She does voices.  She's best known for playing Jimmy Neutron! :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brooke Shields

This too was obviously at the LA Times Festival of Books.  If you haven't been before, you should definitely consider going!  Every year there's generally a celebrity that has written a book. *haha*  And if you want to meet one of your favorite authors, they may be there... unless it's an old book, but that's obvious, nevermind... *haha*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tom Bergeron

Same place.  He wrote a book about working on 'Dancing With The Stars' *haha*  I haven't watched that show in a while... I loved the season with Jennifer Grey, though! :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Henry Winkler

The dad from 'Holes'!  ... And a bunch of other things, that's just where I know him from. *hehe*
And this was again at the LA Times Festival of Books.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mary Badham!

A.K.A. Scout from 'To Kill a Mockingbird'!
I met her and got her autograph also!  I'll post that later.
This was at a screening of 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.  There was an interview with her before it, where she told stories about filming the movie! :)  It was truly an amazing evening.
She talked about how her and the boys fought a lot and how sad she was when she revisited the sets and found out that the houses had been burnt down by a disgruntled employee...  She also talked about her nomination for an Oscar and how she didn't want to win, because she didn't want to go up there. *haha*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emily Osment

(I was really happy with how my pictures turned out from this! *hehe*)
I have a TON more, but I thought it be better if I didn't bombard you with them. ;)
This was at a concert at The Americana (outdoor mall in LA)  It was a lot of fun!
Aaaand... she really looks like Carrie Underwood... I kept thinking that during her concert *haha* (random, sorry)

Honor Society

They were really good, too! :)

Richard Sherman

^ He was sitting really close to us! ^

This was at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
It was a tribute to Richard Sherman (who wrote pretty much all the classic Disney songs!)
One guys played this incredible organ and another guy, the piano.  So most of the concert was other people playing his music and he was sitting in the audience.
Then, at the end he came up to the stage (with Mickey Mouse! *hehe*) and played a few songs and told stories of his times with Walt Disney! :)  Every Friday, Walt Disney had the Sherman Brothers come into his office and play "Feed The Birds" which was his favorite song because it has a great message.  At Walt Disney's 100th birthday celebration at Disneyland, Richard Sherman played "Feed The Birds" and he said that during the song a bird flew out of the cloudless sky, landed on Walt Disney's statue and flew away, like it was Walt Disney saying thank you. :)
